The automotive world is abuzz with the latest images of the 2026 Zeekr 7X, showcasing a refreshed exterior design and a confirmed 900V electrical system. These spy shots provide a first glimpse into the updates that Zeekr has planned for its popular mid-size electric SUV, hinting at significant enhancements that could redefine its market presence.
Spy shots of the facelifted 2026 Zeekr 7X have surfaced, bringing with them a wave of excitement among electric vehicle enthusiasts and industry watchers. Shared by Sugar Design on Weibo, these images reveal a series of subtle yet impactful changes to the SUV's exterior. A newly designed lower front bumper and higher-mounted rear license plate create a more dynamic look, while redesigned taillights extend further into the tailgate to enhance the vehicle's visual appeal. Notably, these taillights now integrate with secondary light clusters positioned on body-colored sections, offering a striking contrast that highlights the vehicle's sleek design. Complementing these updates are the new alloy wheels with their fresh spoke designs, marking a significant aesthetic evolution for the Zeekr 7X.
Beyond the surface, the 2026 Zeekr 7X retains its familiar dimensions, maintaining a length of 4,825 mm, width of 1,930 mm, and height of 1,666 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm. While the updates focus predominantly on exterior styling, the vehicle's fastback silhouette remains unchanged. Options for 19-, 20-, and 21-inch wheels are expected to be available, along with red brake calipers and a retractable tow hook, although towing capacity details have yet to be confirmed. The roofline and lidar module appear untouched in the spy images, suggesting that significant hardware upgrades might not be part of this refresh.
Importantly, filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) have confirmed that the 2026 Zeekr 7X will continue to offer both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants. Enhancements include more powerful motors and larger battery packs, with select trims featuring a cutting-edge 900V electrical system. This system promises faster charging times, a critical feature for the growing number of EV consumers prioritizing convenience and efficiency. The RWD model's power output is expected to increase to 370 kW (496 hp), while the AWD version will add a 215 kW (288 hp) front motor, achieving a combined output of 784 hp. Battery options of 75 kWh and 103 kWh are anticipated to deliver ranges between 600 km and 802 km, depending on the configuration.
These developments position the 2026 Zeekr 7X to potentially outshine its predecessor, which is currently sold in China at prices ranging from 229,900 to 269,900 yuan (approximately 32,200 to 37,800 USD). The current model delivers 310 kW (416 hp) in RWD and 475 kW (637 hp) in AWD, with driving ranges extending up to 780 km. With the upcoming enhancements, the facelifted 7X not only aims to match these benchmarks but also exceed consumer expectations in terms of performance and technological sophistication.
As the automotive industry increasingly shifts towards electric vehicles, the 2026 Zeekr 7X's updates underscore the brand's commitment to innovation. By integrating a 900V system and refining its design, Zeekr is poised to enhance its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving EV market. The official debut of the facelifted model later this year is eagerly anticipated, with industry experts closely watching how these changes will impact Zeekr's market position and consumer reception.
