Nio Unveils 2026 ES8 SUV at Nio Day, Priced from $42,000 with Battery Rental Option

Nio Day, an annual event that draws attention to the latest innovations from the Chinese automaker, was the stage for the unveiling of the 2026 ES8 SUV. The event took place at the Hangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center and was attended by a large audience, both physically and virtually. It includes 11 airbags and 65 active assistance features, supported by Nio’s self-developed Shenji NX9031 chip and Qualcomm’s 8295 processor.
