Zeekr, a prominent player in the electric vehicle market, has unveiled a glimpse of its 2026 Zeekr X. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, Zeekr's latest model promises to enhance the driving experience with a redesigned interior and the introduction of the Energee battery option, aimed at providing a longer electric range.
Recently released photos of the 2026 Zeekr X hatchback have captivated enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. Set to debut in the fourth quarter, the updated model represents a significant step forward for Zeekr, part of Geely's automotive lineup. While the exterior design remains largely consistent with its predecessor, featuring a matte grey finish contrasted by a black roof and distinctive five-spoke wheels, it is the interior and powertrain enhancements that are drawing attention. The Zeekr X's current design measures 4,450mm in length, 1,836mm in width, and 1,572mm in height, with a 2,750mm wheelbase, offering a spacious and comfortable ride.
Inside the cabin, Zeekr has introduced several notable upgrades. The center console has been reimagined from a flow-through design to a more traditional closed configuration, now featuring a wireless phone charging pad and additional storage. The door panels and seats have been updated with new diamond-patterned stitching, though it is yet to be confirmed if this will be standard across all trim levels. Additionally, the inclusion of rear center air conditioning vents marks a commitment to passenger comfort. The vehicle retains its triple-screen setup, consisting of an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 24.3-inch head-up display, ensuring a tech-forward driving experience.
The powertrain options for the Zeekr X are equally impressive. The current models offer single and dual-motor configurations, with the single motor delivering 200 kW (268 hp) and the dual-motor setup producing a combined 315 kW or 422 hp. These configurations are paired with either 49 kWh or 66 kWh battery packs, offering various driving ranges from 420 km to 560 km depending on the setup. The introduction of the Energee battery option is anticipated to push these range numbers even further, appealing to consumers looking for extended electric-only travel.
Since its launch in 2023, the Zeekr X has been positioned as a global model from Geely, exported to multiple countries. The strategic updates for 2026 are expected to strengthen its presence in the competitive electric vehicle market. As EV manufacturers continue to innovate, Zeekr's commitment to integrating advanced battery technology and enhancing interior design reflects a growing focus on user experience and sustainability.
As the launch date approaches, more detailed specifications and pricing for the 2026 Zeekr X are anticipated. This update not only showcases Zeekr's ability to adapt and innovate but also highlights the rapid development within the electric vehicle sector. The automotive world eagerly awaits further announcements, anticipating how the new Energee battery will influence consumer choices and the EV market as a whole.
